We followed the typical music magazine conventions of having the artist's name and the magazine name in bold a-swell as the issue number. In order to form an appealing magazine cover we followed the conventions so that we attract the same audience.

The star image of our artist continues and follows the pattern of his staring directly into the camera portraying his confidence and the use of the simple colours of black and white evokes an effortless feeling for the audience. By placing the image of the artist and making it the focus of the eye it allows the audience to remember and recognise the artist.
